A hub for contemporary art in Tbilisi

The Centre of Contemporary Art in Tbilisi (CCA-T) serves as a hub for contemporary art in the Georgian capital, providing a democratic platform where artists, curators, and students can come together to collaborate. CCA-T organises art exhibitions and fairs to support the local art scene and hosts a free public library with approximately 2,000 books on contemporary art, art history, and art theory. In December 2023, we supported the opening of an educational space called “The Studio Initiative” through the New Democracy Fund. This initiative adopts a free and inclusive approach to education.
