Culture blends with science

In 2023, we supported a new collaboration between our Ukrainian partner – the cultural platform IZOLYATSIA – and a number of scientists, researchers, and academics. IZOLYATSIA has been addressing environmental issues since 2011, focusing on industrial pollution in eastern Ukraine and climate change in general. However, this is the first time the organisation has collaborated with academics and researchers. This new connection will ensure that cultural actors in Ukraine interested in environmental issues will have access to scientific research in the field providing them with an academic perspective on their artistic work.
