Sound of Europe Festival
12 EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) members have collaborated with Kadıköy and Ankara Municipalities to create a three-day outdoor music festival ‘Sound of Europe Festival’ focusing on European music for Turkish audiences. The festival brought together music lovers in İstanbul Alan Kadıköy and Ankara Ahlatlıbel Atatürk Park in June 2022 with a rich selection of new and fascinating selections from the European music scene.
By bringing 12 different music groups from Europe together with local artists from Türkiye together on stage, the festival contributed to the establishment of a common platform for dialogue and exchange.
The Danish contribution to the festival was Yo Johnny with Arto Eriksen and his partner Filip Zafirakos.
