Workshop: Volunteering and volunteer management
How to motivate and organize volunteer efforts? How to create common energy and enthusiasm? How to create quality solutions that influence both the organization and the volunteers?
These questions were answered and debated on a workshop (20th of June) about volunteering and volunteer management for cultural and sports institutions and NGO’s based in Wroclaw, Poland.
The workshop was conducted by Elin Witschas Thomassen who has extensive experience within the volunteer sector, among others Roskilde Festival and Save the Children.
The chosen location for the workshop was at Barbara, former information and activity centre of the European Capital of Culture Wroclaw 2016. Now a space for artistic activities and a meeting place for panel discussions, conferences and workshops.
