ArtPower Belarus project will continue supporting independent Belarusian art and culture

In the spring of 2025, ArtPower Belarus, a large-scale programme funded by the European Union, will continue its work to promote the preservation and development of independent Belarusian culture.

Building on the good results achieved during the implementation of the first edition of ArtPower Belarus (2022-2024), the European Commission has decided to extend the programme.

The main format of ArtPower Belarus is direct support for Belarusian artists and cultural figures in the development and implementation of their projects through a competition for grant applications. Both established and completely new cultural initiatives, as well as individual artists, will be able to participate. The competitive selection mechanism and all details of the programme will be announced after the official launch of ArtPower Belarus in the spring of 2025.

The programme will continue to be implemented jointly by the Belarusian Council for Culture and Danish Cultural Institute. ArtPower Belarus is supported by the European Commission.

As the current edition of ArtPower Belarus draws to a close, 83 creative projects involving Belarusians on both sides of the border have been funded, and 57 mobility grants awarded, benefiting 231 individuals.
